KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 7 – Barisan Nasional’s Women wing chairman Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad gave her words that they will ensure victory for all female candidates in Melaka state election.

The Umno Wanita chief also hoped BN representatives will put the people’s interest at all times.

Wanita BN, she said owes gratitude to the leadership for selecting new candidates, including women.

“The decision to field more than 85 per cent new faces shows the courage in BN to ensure stability in the next state government. This is in tandem with our motto ‘Stability for Prosperity’.

Out of 28 candidates, BN has named Tuminah Kadi @ Mohd Hasim as women candidate for Pantai Kundor state seat, Datuk Kalsom Nordin (Pengkalan Batu), Leong Hui Ying (Kesidang), Datuk Khaidhirah Abu Zahar (Rim) and Siti Faizah Datuk Abdul Azis (Sungai Rambai).
