SEPANG, Sept 26 – Women’s chief Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad says five resolutions will be submitted to party president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi endorsed by the ‘Women Re-Energized Leadership Development (WoRLD)’.
She also hopes that more women will be appointed to the Cabinet if BN wins the next general election.
“The resolutions contains our hope since we have been working closely with all wings in helping the party winning several states and by-elections. We still stand for BN during the hard time after the defeat in GE14,” she says when closing the ‘Women Re-Energized Leadership Development’ program here.
Noraini who is also chairman of BN Women Movement also congratulates all who have contributed well to BN victory previously.
Among the resolutions are to field at least 30 per cent woman candidate in the GE15, to give at least 30 per cent say for women in GLC, GLIC, university and government agencies, establish a Women Leadership Academy in the near future and appointing more women as the party’s task force.
