DATUK Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is leaving it to the Registrar of Society as to whether the motion not to have any contest for the party top two posts endorsed by the recent General Assembly is valid or not.

Speaking in Bagan Datuk yesterday, he said the president and deputy president posts must be approved to counter claims by some members that it was not valid.

“Umno is open to RoS decision,” he said, adding that it is a practice that all political parties will seek endorsement from the RoS on any decision made.

However, the Deputy Prime Minister the report is only a formality and acknowledgement.
