UMNO’s Communication Director Lokman Noor Adam chided Arau Member of Parliament Shahidan Kassin for saying PAS and Bersatu in Perikatan Nasional will take over the role of Umno as the nation’s largest Malay party.

He said both parties are no replacement for Umno which has long established in the country.

“Shahidan suggested that the Malays are inclining towards PN as a Malay political entity. Let me remind him that Umno had never navigated from its core struggle,” he said in a FB video.

The Supreme Council member added that what Shahidan said is echoing PN’s worrines since Umno is now working with DAP in the Unity Government.
