THE Kelantan State Assembly is offically dissolved today to pave the way for a state election.

It was announced by the Menteri Besar Ahmad Yakob in a press conference on Wednesday after getting a consent from Sultan Muhammad V.

It took place four days earlier when it mandate ends on June 26.

In the last general election in 2018, Pas dominated the state by winning 37 seats compared to eight by Barisan Nasional.
