AN UMNO veteran member has urged Bersatu to be dissolved and all its members ‘come back to Umno’.

Its secretary Mustapha Yaakub said Bersatu should call for a special assembly for that matter and all of them can re-join Umno en bloc.

“They can call for a special assembly and make a decision to dissolve the party. Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah has done it when he did the same thing to Semangat 46 (in 1993).

“All Bersatu members can join Umno,” he said on Saturday.

He said there no need for Bersatu to cooperate with Umno, instead ‘join us’.

Bersatu deputy president Hamzah Zainuddin had previously voiced his intention to cooperate with Umno.
