UMNO members cannot be in the comfort zone anymore and should stop their day dreaming if they want victory in the next general elections.

Supreme Council member Mahdzir Khalid said they instead should keep abreast with current political challenges and find solutions to overcome it.

The Kedah party chairman also said there are now to many challenges confronting Umno, among which are lie and slander than can be gullible to some voters.

“We cannot stay complacent. Next election could be in 2027. We need to find ways to improve our seat count and only confine to defending the parliment and state seats we won in last elections,” he said in Kota Tinggi on Sunday.
