Pemuda and PAS youths joint hands in sanitation

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 26 – Pemuda and PAS  Youth have agreed to jointly mobilize both party’s machinery nationwide to carry out free sanitation or decontamination initiatives to prevent the COVID-19 virus.
Pemuda UMNO chief Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki said the focus of this joint work will be focused on public areas, especially mosques, suraus and houses of worship, including schools ahead of its opening sessions.
“To ensure the success and effectiveness, Pemuda’s Sabil Squad volunteers and the charity department in all Parliamentary constituencies will be mobilised.
“Hopefully, the agreement and strong cooperation through the noble efforts between Pemuda and PAS can help the people to reduce the risk of being exposed to the threat of COVID-19 pandemic. May the devotional service and charity work done together be accepted by Allah as a good deed that pleases Him as well,” he said.
He said this in a joint statement with the PAS Youth Council chief Senator Ir. Ts. Hj Khairil Nizam Khirudin. The agreement was achieved in a recent meeting.
