UMNO DEPUTY President Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan hopes that the UMNO General Assembly this time will be the best platform listening to the views of party members to ensure that UMNO remains relevant for the people.

The Barisan Nasional (BN) Deputy Chairman explained that this is because UMNO is an important leadership organization and is the flagship of national politics.

“UMNO must be able to analyze, UMNO must be able to provide ideas and examine the current political scenario of the country.

“This is the voice of the members, the voice of the members brought by the delegates and will be debated and adopted by the party, making decisions that will ultimately benefit both parties and the people, the Malays in particular and also our country,” he said recently.

The Negeri Sembilan UMNO Liaison Committee chairman added that the people, especially party members, would definitely want to know UMNO’s stance amid the country’s inconsistent political landscape.

“Current politics is changing and it is becoming diverse every day, becoming the main topic of discussion in the community,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mohamad also instructed the delegates present to adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
