KUALA LUMPUR, May 13 – This Aidilfitri marks another year celebrating it in the Movement Control Order (MCO) amid Covid-1, President Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said.

However, he said it should instill new spirit especially in fostering better relation with others.

“I, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, sincerely wishes all UMNO members ‘Selamat Aidilfitri, maaf zahid dan batin’.

“Not forgetting to all Malaysians.

“This is the second consecutive year we celebrate it in the pandemic. Many are reeling from its effect. Please abide the SOP during the festive month,” he said.

Zahid who is also Barisan Nasional chairman said the Muslims had successfully carried out their responsibility in Ramadan.

“This Aidilfitri symbolises victory. Be moderate and share it with others.

“Look around us should there are others who are in need of our help. Everybody deserves to celebrate it,” he said.
