Aid those affected by lockdown – Asyraf

KUALA LUMPUR, May 29 – The government finally issued a statement to enforce total lockdown in the country, said Youth Chief Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki who were among leaders who proposed it.

As such, he said those badly affected by the measure must be aided amid clamping down on social and economic activities to contain the Cpvid-19 pandemic.

“I hope the Finance Ministry announces the special assistance soon.

“So are i-Sinar 2.0, i-Lestari 2.0 and special provision under the Emergency Ordinance to instruct the banking institution provides 3 to 6 months moratorium without additional cost,” he said in a statement.

He also thanks the government for listening the people on enforcing the lockdown.
