KUALA LUMPUR, June 22 – Puteri Umno urges the government to immediately assist the people affected by the Movement Control Order (PKP 3.0) or total lockdown which has been extended until June 28.

Its chief Datuk Zahida Zarik Khan said they should stop blaming the people who have already sacrificed and complied with the standard operating procedures (SOP) set.

“Help the people immediately. Another week to complete the long month of lockdown. They have sacrificed enough.

“What about their grievances who want an automatic moratorium in bulk, i-Sinar 2.0, i-Lestari 2.0, BPN/BPR plus utility bill discounts,” she said in a Facebook posting.

Earlier, the MCO 3.0 which was supposed to end on June 14 was extended for another two weeks after taking into account the daily COVID-19 cases which are still high at more than 5,000 cases a day.

Accordingly, all forms of SOP for each social activity are prohibited except for certain economic sectors.
