Complete vaccination for social needs, including Parliament

KUALA LUMPUR, June 22 – The Health Ministry revealed that a total of 1,612,974 individuals have completed two doses of vaccine under the National Covid-19 Immunization Program as of Sunday.
In this matter, Umno Secretary-General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan suggested that group social activities such as meetings or congregational prayers and several others should be considered for a complete vaccination.
He said this will encourage them to register and get vaccinated. Groups that have undergone two doses should also be allowed cross border and allowed to attend parliamentary sittings, compared with no parliamentarians get vaccination last year. However, 2021 will be totally different since they have compeleted it.
“But no sign of Parliament sitting yet. State Assemblymen have completed their doses and they should also be allowed to attend DUN sitting,” he said on his Twitter, today.
Nevertheless, he acknowledged that the conditions to compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) throughout the MCO should continue be adhered to, including those who have received two doses of the vaccines.
Earlier, through data sharing on his Twitter account, Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba said 4,202,601 individuals or 12.9 percent of the population in the country had received the first dose, bringing the total number of first and second doses in the country to 5,815,575.
