Enough of political games, country in haywire

KUALA LUMPUR, July 11 – Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the government must stop playing politics immediately and instead gives attention to rescuing the country and its people.

The party president said the people who are now faced with many difficulties couldn’t take it anymore.

“The nation is in deep fiasco. The daily new Covid-19 infection almost break the 10,000 barrier yesterday but those at the top are still scrambling politically to secure their position. That is why we need to put a stop at all these. Safe the country and the people first,” he said in a FB posting.

The BN chairman had earlier cited two heart-rending stories about an UiTM student found dead puportedly under stress over online learning, and second the fracas during burial of Covid-19 victim in Klang, Selangor.

“The fracas erupted due to fatigueness of volunteers and health staff. Both were actually tired.

“This indicates how Malaysia needs to be free from the deadly pandemic as soon as possible.”

It was reportedly that the new cases exceeded 9,000 with 9,105 today, making the total number to 836,296. Selangor remains the state with the highest daily number with 4,682 followed by Kuala Lumpur 1,247, Negeri Sembilan (541), Johor (392), Kedah (382) and Pahang 300.
