Umno takes people’s interest to Dewan Rakyat

KUALA LUMPUR, July 14 – Secretary-General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan hopes the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government will table the National Recovery Plan (PPN) for debates at the Parliament.

He said Umno has given them 55 suggestions, among which are to conduct the Parliament session face-to-face and put the Emergency Ordinance for debate.

“We also proposed for speeding up the herd community vaccination as early as October, simplify the EPF withdrawals, moratorium, BPR, tax reduction, assist PdPR learning with better internet connectivity and cash assistance to help the people.”

The Pontian Member of Parliament outlined this in his Twitter after a meeting Finance Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz at the ministry, today.

He earlier expressed his appreciation to party president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi for entrusting him to deliver the set of suggestions to the government.

Also present during the meeting was Youth Chief Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki who also delivered 10 demands t0 facilitate the people on i-Citra, Moratarium, LPPSA and BPR.
