Melaka PRN manifesto is for all

UMNO leaders lauded the manifesto for Melaka state election as comprehensive, achievable and covers all people.
Deputy President and the election director Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said it also meant to boost the state’s economy lagging under the previous government, before Barisan Nasional took over early last year.
“Most important is to re-install stability. The political instability has disrupted the state’s development.
“Stability is the key to a successful future as it directly will prosper the people. So that is why our manifesto is themed ‘Stability for Prosperity’. There must be political stability, unity and the people integration we need to create.
“With that, the new Melaka state government will be able to manage the state well to develop the state and the result of the well-planned development will bring prosperity to the people,” he said in a press conference after the launch of the manifesto which was also attended by Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali who is the BN candidate for Lendu.
he Barisan Nasional (BN) Manifesto for the Melaka State Election (PRN) clearly shows that the leadership of this component party has consistently helped the people in the state, said UMNO Vice President Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid.
According to him, this commitment is also comprehensive and practical to be implemented to ensure that Melaka continues to progress as done by BN before the 14th General Election (GE-14).
“The manifesto launched by the BN State Election Director, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan is a commitment that reality can also be practiced or in my opinion it is a practical thing that can be done by the Melaka state government which, God willing, will be established by BN.
“All of that is for the well -being of the people, the emphasis given to the economy, education is all related to making the government progressive for the progress of the people.
“BN’s experience is long overdue to take care of the people based on my existing experience and with this manifesto made, this is the space and opportunity for the people to accept that it proves BN is committed to helping the people,” he said when met by UMNO Online.
Vice President Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said the manifesto theme is based on commitment and a sense of responsibility towards the people.
“If there are other parties that make manifestos, we must not forget that they say the manifesto is only a book, so do not believe in their manifesto or promises, especially Pakatan Harapan (PH), and also do not forget the Perikatan Nasional which also has PPBM.
“PPBM used to be the core of PH and they both made a manifesto which is actually just a promise that was not fulfilled, an irresponsible promise and we all know that we have even been deceived,” he said.
He said this in the talk show ‘Gegau Melaka: BN Teras Politik Negara’ on Umno-Online’s facebook and youtube page, last night.
At the same time, Khaled also mentioned BN’s commitment to implement changes by presenting new faces.
“BN has fielded all candidates to contest in 28 DUN (State Legislative Assembly) and of course our hope is for the people to evaluate and vote BN,” he said.
