BN the most stable party – Zahid Hamidi

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 8 – Barisan Nasional (BN) remains the most stable political coalition to govern the country at all times, says its chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The disarray plaguing other parties, including the using of logos and poster boy in run up to the Johor state election is a testimony to this.

“Stability has returned to Melaka after its election last November, thus the national prosperity can only be achieved under BN. Based on past experience, the only party that has brought about stability and prosperity to the country is BN.

“Stability is attained under a legitimate political coalition, as we used to have before the May 9, 2018 black episode,” he said in a FB posting.

The party president added that the people made a wrong decision when they tried the 22-month regime, which ended in despair when stability and prosperity eluded them.

“Instability in many aspects including the economy, education, healthcare, development, international trade and so on to the extent that it burdened the people.

“The government comprising of individual representative after then only lasted 17 months after also failed the nation and the people for its instability.”

Zahid said such a political scenario has prompted the people to return to BN for stability and prosperity.

“The people were badly hit, the implications were so bad and as such they must be given back the mandate to choose a government that can offer them stability.

“To secure it, we must look back at the past,” he said.
