SEMBRONG, Feb 22 – Secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan hopes the party machinery can work harder to retain Barisan Nasional (BN) victory in Kahang.

He said the call is also for all BN parties to seize the Paloh state seat.

“Hopefully, the victory in the Kahang can be maintained while Paloh be recaptured. The adopted state is Kelantan. Thank you Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein for making a splendid preparations in Sembrong,” he said.

Ahmad who is also the Pontian MP held a meeting with Sembrong Division Umno machinery on Monday morning. He was later at the Johor Bahru Division in the afternoon.

He said, as a senior figure in Umno, Tan Sri Shahrir Samad who is Johor Bahru Division head was able to lead the party to capture both seats in the area.

“With his guidance, we believe can capture Larkin and Stulang.” KL is the adopted state for the division.
