BN is not power craze, says Zahid Hamidi

MUAR, March 6 – BN chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi reiterated that the Johor state election on March 12 is not what the opponents labelled the party as power crazy.

What is paramount, he said is the return of stability to the state government in order to chart development for the people.

“The date 12 March will be the dee-day… an unstable situation at the State Assembly will dampen anyt effort to bring about good decision on behalf of the state and its people. Of course we do not want such a government.

“The dissolution of the assembly is the ultimate right of His Royal Highness the Johor Sultan, who decided election must be held soon after the flood tragedy is over.

“Not that we want to waste money or power craze. If Datuk Hasni Mohammad is greedy for power, he could have waited for another 400 days to complete the term but he chose the state election in the name of stability,” he said at Sungai Balang here, today.

Also present were two BN candidates Selamat Takim and Datuk Seri Razali Ibrahim.
