Sabah BN Convention commitment for stability

KOTA KINABALU, July 2 – Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the Sabah Convention today was a show of commitment that the coalition is determined to restore stability in the country.
While thanking Sabah BN under the leadership of Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin for his loyalty, he said BN is a party for all and will always put the people above all.

“Ladies and gentlemen, all of you are Barisan Nasional fighters who are always loyal and keep struggling for the nation, especially for Sabah.

“This commitment is strengthening BN Sabah which has contributed a lot to the state,” he said at at the Sabah BN Convention, here, today.
According to Ahmad Zahid, Sabah politics is very unique with its diversity.
“With more than 30 ethnicities, 50 languages ​​and no less than 90 dialects, this composition actually forms a force. Since joining Malaysia in 1963, the racial and ethnic diversity of Sabah had formed a strong cooperation and integration.”
He said the record shows that the period when Sabah became the most advanced in all socio-economic aspects was when it was under the rule of Sabah Alliance for 12 years, and BN for 24 years.
“In fact, it is not wrong for me to mention as an example, during the 15 years of Sabah under BN administration led by Tan Sri Musa Aman as the Chief Minister, Sabah politics was very stable and the state has developed rapidly.
“Many developments took place, including roads, water, rural electricity supply and others. Education was elevated, for instance the establishment of Universiti Malaysia Sabah. ”
In that matter, he believes that Sabahans are longing for stability.
“I also believe we all know that stability can only be achieved through a strong and resilient Government.”
Also present was BN deputy chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.
