I WOULD like to inform that I have received a letter from the Registrar of Societies (RoS) on Friday evening 29 of July 2022.
The RoS has given its approval with minor amendments Umno’s application related to its Constitution. The approval is effective on 29 July 2022.
RoS agreed to the amendment of the party Constitution that elections at all levels to be held 6 months after the general election.
This means that Umno’s election for this term will only be held no later than 6 months after GE-15 is held.
On behalf of Umno, I would like to express my gratitude to the RoS and all parties involved in approving the amendment.
