KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 30 – Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi hopes the 65th Merdeka celebration will see a high spirit of patriotism among Malaysians.

Umno, he said has the pride of fighting for Independence in 1957 together with other races.

 

“Never forget where we had started. It took a lot of pain and sacrifices to prepare what we have achieved today.

“It can never be realised had not for the leaders of the past,” he said in a FB posting.
