SEREMBAN, Sept 14 – Decision as to whether Umno and PAS will sit down to discuss the 15th general election is up to the party’s Supreme Council.

Deputy President Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan says it will be discussed if there is any proposal made during the MT meeting.

“They will decide, not me or any individual,” he says when commenting a statement by PAS secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan that all parties should come together under the Penyatuan Ummah, including Umno. That was PAS decision last week.

However, Mohamad says as at now, Umno/BN will contest the general election alone.
