PONTIAN, Sept 19 – Secretary-General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan says he is confident that the 15th general election will be held this year.

Since all preparations have been made, he says there is nothing more to do except for waiting for the Parliament to be dissolved.

“What the PM said about Parliament dissolution soon, gave us some indications that GE is imminent,” he says when commenting the statement by Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob earlier.

The Pontian MP also advises Umno/BN machinery to take a lesson from the defeat in the 2018 general election.

“Don’t be complacent. We need to win for the nation and the people.”
