Muhyiddin tries to sabotage Ismail Sabri, says Zahid

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 21 – Accusation by Bersatu President Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin that the current Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has failed in managing the country’s economy was an act of sabotage against the government where his own party is a member.

Umno President Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi says it also proof how the government is unstable with its internal bickering. He was commenting on Muhyiddin (chairman of the National Recovery Council) remark that the PM has failed to uplift the economy, which led to many problems to the people.

“This instability is why we need to have a fresh general election and a legitimate government. The people are not at ease with all this.

“Muhyiddin has forgotten the fact that when he was our PM, the people were more in deep predicament. Has he forgotten how 10,317 people were made bankcrupt since March 2020 and 37,415 business had to close down over the Covid-19 pandemic?”

The Bagan Datuk MP also says Muhyiddin was actually trying to blame Umno/BN over the fiasco, including the depreciating Ringgit.

“He should mirror himself first before accusing the PM,” he says.
