RANTAU PANJANG, Oct 1 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob agrees to call for a general election this year, says Vice-President Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid.

It was mentioned during the party’s Top 5 meeting yesterday.

Secretary-General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan told the media in a press conference in Kuala Lumpur, the exact date is the prerogative right of the PM when he is given an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
