KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 7 – Secretary-General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan slams those who issued a fake statement purportedly issued by him.

Describing it as a bad agenda to tear Umno apart, he says the letter was about a special Top 5 meeting after PM Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri, who is also Umno Vice-President, had an audience with the King.

“There is no special Supreme Council meeting tonight as mentioned in the statement. It’s a normal one to discuss the GE15.”

The Pontian MP also answered reporters’ question on the PM presence to see party president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi at the Umno HQ.

“So happen it was about Bera division’s preparation. Deputy President Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan also has given his briefing earlier.”
