DATUK Seri Anwar Ibrahim took oath today at the Istana Negara as Malaysia’s 10th prime minister before the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

The Pakatan Harapan (PH) leader heads the unity government with Barisan Nasional.

In the just concluded 15th general election, PH garnered 82 parliamentary seats as compared to Perikatan Nasional (73) and BN (30).

However, PN refused cooperation with PH in the new government.

In its meeting earlier, the Council of Rulers has named Anwar as the new PM.
