DEPUTY President Mohamad Hasan said Umno/BN lost in the 15th general election because the voters were gullible with its opponents’ lies and slanders.

The conigtive war against Umno on the social media was very effective to the extent that the Malays themselves rejected the party.

“They also labelled our leaders as kleptoractic, low morality due to graft and others.

“Such was the cognitive war launched against us on Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and so on. We tried our best to counter their accusation but to no avail,” he said when officiating the Women, Youth and Puteri assembly here today.

Mohamad also lined out as to why BN chose Pakatan Harapan to form the Unity Government.
