PARTY president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi yesterday urged all Umno members to strengthen the spirit of togetherness in rebuilding the party after its dismal performance in the 15th general election.

The Deputy Prime Minister said it can be achieved should all members subscribe to high spirit and strong determination.

“It can be done, nothing is impossible. Umno used to hold supremacy in Malaysian politics. Let us work together to rebuild it again,” he said in a special president’s briefing at Dewan Merdeka WTC.

In a FB posting, he also said the time has come for Umno to rise to the needs of the people, especially the youth.
