THE Supreme Council meeting last night sacked two leaders and suspended four others on disciplinary ground.
Secretary-General Ahmad Maslan said in a statement, they were founded to sabotage the party in many forms during the 15th general election campaign. Among which was smearing the party’s name to potential voters.
The two sacked are former Rembau MP and Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar and Tan Sri Noh Omar.
“Suspended for six years are Sembrong MP Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, Maulizan Bujang, Mohd Salim Sharif and Shahril Hamdan.”
Also sacked are five members from Pasir Gudang division, nine from Putrajaya, two in Tanjong Karang and 26 in Pahang state.
“Among their actions against the party is stood as Independent in the general election, contested for other parties and helping the opponents.”
In other development, Ahmad said Mohamed Khaled Nordin is the new Johor Liasion Chief.
