WOMEN’s chief Noraini Ahmad yesterday quashed off Annuar Musa’s statement that many Umno members will leave the party after it allowed DAP leaders to walk into Dewan Merdeka during the Unity Government National Convention on Sunday.

On the other hand, she said DAP presence must be taken as a positive sign for the Unity Government.

“His statement is absurd. Members will not leave the party.

“As a component in the government, we possess our own strength, and so are others,” she said at the Risda Raya open house in Kuala Lumpur.
