MALAYSIA and China will enhance cooperation in vocational training, including TVET, said Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

This was agreed upon during his meeting with China’s CPC Minister for International Affairs Liu Jianchao.

China also offered training in other disciplines, especially in technological studies,” he said in a FB posting.

Among others at the meeting were Higher Education Minister Zambry Kadir, Deputy Foreign Minister Mohamad Alamin and Umno Secretary-General Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki.

Liu was accompanied by China Ambassador Ouyang Yujing.
