May Ramadan elevate our taqwa – Ahmad Zahid

“For me, family is everything. In thick or thin, they never left me alone. They are my heart and soul,” he added.
There was one occasion where he watched movie with them.
“After a small ceremony, our fourth child suggested that we watch the movie Hantu Kapchai, saying he wanted to support local films. I was okay with it.”
Back to Ramadan, Zahid said Muslims must elevate their position by becoming a true believers.
“Don’t cheat by giving many excuses not to fast… and don’t forget to pay ‘fidyah’ (penalty for not fasting) for the previous year. This is the time for us to perform ibadah. Life is short… sooner of later we will go back to Him.
“Hopefully, this Ramadan will be better than the previous ones. Perform the terawih and arrange ourselves to become a faithful Muslims.”
