BN is most stable – Ahmad Maslan

KUALA LUMPUR, April 14 – Since its inauguration, Malaysia had undergo four administration models, said UMNO Secretary-General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan.

Those were under Barisan Nasional (formerly known as Perikatan) for 63 years, Pakatan Harapan (PH) for 22 months, Perikatan Nasional or PN (10 months) and the emergency rule since January 2021.

Among the four, BN has managed the country the longest.

“What made BN to stay that long? The formula is stability enjoyed by all,” he wrote on Twitter.

He added that most seats it won had also attracted other parties to become its component.

“For the record, that 63 years period under BN were most prosperous and stable but the slanders and lies spewed by Pakatan Harapan has brought us down on 9 May, 2018. However, they only lasted for 22 months when the prime minister resigned due to internal conflicts.”

The new PN overnment was installed on March 2020 on the back of Covid-19 threat and this has prompted them to enforce the Emergency Ordinance for the period of January 11-August 1 this year.
