BARISAN Nasional held its AGM virtually tonight (8 June 2021) and participated by all four component parties, namely Umno, MCA, MIC and PBRS.

Among others, its Supreme Council has unanimously appointed Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr Zambry Abd Kadir as the new secretary-general and adopted the annual and financial reports ended 31st December 2020.

It also decided to strengthen party machineries in every State to speed up vaccination process, especially for the aged, remote areas and the disabled.

The meeting called for full cooperation from Malaysians to abide by the SOP and help to contain the Covid-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, the coalition unanimously appointed Dato Seri Azlan Man as chairman for Perlis BN working committee.
