KUALA LUMPUR, July 28 Julai – Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi refutes allegation that Umno leaders who are not holding any position in the government only know how to complaint and criticise.

Instead, the party president and BN chairman said various suggestions and views were put forward by them all this whiles.

“More than 25 proposals put forward by our Secretary-General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan at the Dewan Rakyat yesterday, notably that of how Covid-19 can be attended to more effectively,” he said in a FB posting.

However, he said most of the proposals were not attended to even though it is clearly for the sake of the people and nation.

“Hence, it is hoped suggestions by the Pontian MP get the government’s consideration. Don’t dustbin it just because it comes from an Umno MP.

“What’s more important now is protection for the people and the nation,” he said.

Ahmad had on yesterday urged the government to speed up Covid special assssitance (BKC) which was slotted for September, for them to approve both categories of recipients, Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat and the Prihatin Special Grant free of bureaucratic hassle, and simplify EPF withdrawals under i-Citra.
