MELAKA, Nov 15 – Melaka State Election Director (PRN) Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan reminded party workers to stay alert of the opponents demonising tactics.

According to him, they have been resorting to various dirty ways to bring down BN.

“We hope to retain the Ayer Molek DUN (State Assembly) seat even though it is quite challenging due to our opponents dirty methods. Beware of it. They did this because they found it difficult to win.

“Make sure BN wins, including in Ayer Molek through its candidate Datuk Rahmad Mariman who is the incumbent. Work hard for victory on Nov 20 polling,” he said this at the BN operations room at Taman Tambak Paya Harmoni, Ayer Molek, yesterday.

The Umno Deputy President also hoped Rahmad could win this election.

“Ayer Molek needs to be further developed as suggested by international political analysts. In Ayer Molek, the performance of BN, especially the candidate himself is recognised by the constituents while other parties have to field candidates not known to the people.”
