KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 19 – Umno urges all government agencies and the state governments to maximise and speed up aid to the flood victims nationwide.

Secretary-General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan said the Sabil and Sayang squads, party divisions and branches together with all Umno wings will assist and provide necessary aid in relocating them to the temporary shelters (PPS) and cleaning up their homes.

“During this difficult time, Umno machinery at all levels should be able to provide assistance to them, puting aside political differences.

“On behalf of the president and leadership, we would like to thank you for such efforts,” he said today.

Ahmad also hoped all Malaysians pray for things to return to normal.
