‘BN willing to cooperate with any party after GE15’

KUALA LUMPUR, June 11 – BN Chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the coalition is willing to work with anybody in the form of present understanding on in post electoral after the 15th general election.

He said BN now comprises of three main parties, Friends of BN and associate members who show openness and their trust in its principle.

“I have mentioned this during the BN Convention on June 1st that our willingness was only to accept Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) but also other big and small parties in line with the three principles of BN.

 

“We have not reached a decision but it was brought up to me, and I will not make my own decision as it will be referred to BN Supreme Council,” he said when officiating ‘Wacana Aspirasi Umno’ or WAU 2.0 here, today.

Commenting on PAS’ President statement that ridiculed those wanting an early election, he said: “Maybe if election is held earlier, he was worried that his party will lose many seats than the 18 now.”

The Bagan Datuk MP also commented on the Special Parliament Session to discuss the Anti-Hopping Law as it will be incur more cost on the government.

“This is not about the timing but what’s important is the intention. If they want to push it to the Parliament, it can be passed easily before GE

“It’s important because we don’t want what had happened after GE14 to repeat. It must be well supported by al Members of Parliament and State Assemblymen,” he said.
