Tajuddin’s removal will not rock the party

KUALA NERUS, June 27 – The removal of Pasir Salak Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman from the Supreme Working Council (MKT) does not reflect the existence of the party’s internal crisis.
Vice-president Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid said Umno was not facing any internal crisis at the moment.
“There is no crisis, it will not lead to crisis,” he told the media after presenting diploma and certificate scrolls to 648 graduates of the Central Terengganu Development Authority College (KETENGAH) here, today.
Last Thursday, the MKT announced that Tajuddin was removed through a letter dated June 21. He was replaced by former Selangor Barisan Nasional (BN) Information Chief Isham Jalil.
On the same note, Treasurer Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor said wild speculations about split in Umno following Tajuddin’s removal was ‘crap’.
“Eveything went smoothly and full of order.
“It is not true that there is a split,” he said in a FB posting.
Congratulating Isham, Ku Nan added that Umno is so used to fabricated lies and slanders.
