KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 11 – BN’s Constitution needs amendment to allow other parties join the coalition, says chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The existing one, he says is no more relevant.

“Seven parties cannot join the coalition because of the old Constitution. We need amendment,” he says, adding that there was no reason for BN to reject any application to join it.

The Bagan Datuk MP also says BN and Umno will do some ‘cleaning’ by getting rid of those becoming enemies within.

“We don’t want traitors, we have identified them.”
