PUMAS roadshow gets good response from States

The UMNO Malaysia Information (PUMAS) roadshow enters its fourth state, namely Penang. Information Chief Shahril Hamdan said the approach taken in this tour series is seen to be well received by many.
“This is one of the initiatives in efforts to further strengthen the four levels of information machinery throughout the country in accordance with the current scenario. The approach does not only focuses on its direction but educate the party’s social media players with knowledge in info graphics and short videos.
“We hope that what we provide can stimulate divisions and states to make their own products according to the suitability and local atmosphere… that is the direction of this tour,” he told UMNO-Online after officiating the PUMAS’ Penang Strategic Communication Workshop , Sunday.
Shahril added that in contributing to the positive sentiments of the people towards UMNO, Barisan Nasional (BN) and Muafakat Nasional (MN) do not only center on the role of information technology but its contributions, notably in facing the upcoming 15th general election.
Earlier in the same program, the state UMNO Liaison Committee Chairman Datuk Musa Sheikh Fadzir held a ‘heart to heart’ conversation with each participant. Among the emphasis given was the need to strengthen their cooperation.
Musa also advised the party machinery to always remind the people, especially in Penang, about 22-month misery caused by the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration.
