JAPAN’s Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT) today conferred the honorary degree in science and engineering to Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

It is a recognition for his contribution in the strengthening Malaysia-Japan technical education cooperation and effort in uplifting Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

Zahid also received his credential as the president of OISCA (Organisation of Industrial Development and Culture from OISCA president Nakano Etsuko at the Diet building, Tokyo.
